BLOOMFIELD LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 2008 & 2009!!

Looking to repeat in 2009 started off with a dud after winning it all last year without loosing a game going 25-0. This year however that dream was erased when Newark Lost to Spring Garden whom they crushed in the Championship to win the league for the first time since the Fall of 1995.

Newark set poised to repeat after knocking off Spring Garden this year in the semi final round 12-0 and 9-2 and defended its title against former teamates and long time friends from SportsCare who beat Moose K to advance to the finals.

It took 3 games to decide this years Champions. SportsCare upset NewarkFire 16-2 in the first game. and kept NewarkFire close At 4-0 until Newark’s Bats caught Fire as Newark scored 10 times in the top of the 7th of game 2 to even the series at 1 game apiece winning game 2 …. 14-0.
